If you have a dispute and don't want to go to court, alternative dispute resolution can be a good option. Compared to court proceedings, alternative dispute resolution is typically faster, simpler and less expensive. There are several ways to find a solution to a complaint without going to the courts: for example, through mediation, conciliation or arbitration, or through recourse to the Ombudsman or a competent committee in the field of consumer disputes.
