6. Online ordering process

To make purchases through the website www.lojadosdescartaveis.pt, it is necessary to register and fill out the form available online. Once registered, simply insert all the items you wish to purchase into the virtual shopping basket. You must follow all the purchase steps for it to be completed successfully.

The validation of the purchase order assumes that the customer knows and accepts the Terms and Conditions of the website www.lojadosdescartaveis.pt.

Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an automatic email confirming the transaction.

After placing the order online, the Disposable Store will confirm the corresponding payment to start the process of preparation and delivery of the items.

The expected delivery date will be communicated to the customer by email, after payment confirmation.

7. Product availability

The Disposable Store only processes an order placed by a Customer after confirmation of the respective payment, so  cannot guarantee the availability of the articles until the beginning of said processing.  

The products presented on this website are subject to availability and quality of existing stock.

Loja dos Descartáveis undertakes to deliver the orders, properly packaged, within an average of 72 working hours after confirmation of payment by the bank. To the estimated time for dispatch, there is also the transport time, which depends on the chosen carrier, as well as the destination of the order.

The Disposable Store only ships orders from Monday to Friday. In this way, not even Saturdays and Sundays, as well as holidays count towards the estimated delivery of orders.

Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Delivery date estimates are merely indicative and are the responsibility of the carriers.

Any delay in sending the articles, given the estimated dates presented, does not entitle you to compensation.

If any of the products ordered is not available in stock, the Disposable Store will contact the customer by email or phone within 15 days from the date of payment of the order, to inform the new delivery period for the product. .

The customer may be suggested to choose a product with equivalent quality and price to replace the unavailable product. In case of rejection by the customer, the Disposable Store will proceed with the refund by crediting the purchases of other products in our store.

8. Home delivery of online orders

Loja dos Descartáveis undertakes to deliver the orders, properly packaged, within an average of 72 working hours after confirmation of payment by the bank. To the estimated time for dispatch, there is also the transport time, which depends on the chosen carrier, as well as the destination of the order.

After confirmation of payment for the order, the order preparation process begins.

The customer will receive an email informing them of the status of the order and the scheduled delivery date.

9. Shipping costs

Loja dos Descartáveis guarantees free deliveries throughout the Greater Lisbon area.

Deliveries to the other areas of mainland Portugal will be free for purchases over €40 (excluding VAT), for orders lower than those indicated, it will cost €5 + VAT.

For islands (Madeira and Azores) we guarantee free deliveries in freight forwarder (Lisbon area) indicated by the customer, if the Disposable Store is dealing directly with the carrier, it is subject to the presentation of a budget.

10. Cancellations, exchanges and returns

The following conditions and terms are only applicable to purchases made at www.lojadosdescartaveis.pt.

The Customer may cancel his order at any time until delivery, with the right to a refund of all amounts paid. Upon receipt of the order by the Customer, the Customer may exercise its right of free withdrawal under the legally established terms and indicated below, namely, in Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of 14 February.

Failure to pay for the order within 4 days after the date on which it was definitively placed implies the automatic cancellation of the order.

Pursuant to the provisions of Decree-Law no. 7/2004 of 7 January (with the amendments conferred by Decree-Law no. 62/2009, of 10 March and by Law no. 46/2012, of 29 of August), regarding e-commerce, Loja dos Descartáveis reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the order whenever there is a programming error, malfunction of the computers of the Loja dos Descartáveis, as well as the contractual proposal arrives deformed to the its fate and the error relate to an essential element of the contract.

When returning and exchanging items, the Customer must respect the following conditions:

  Return of items in good condition, with complete original packaging and accompanied by the respective original invoice;
We do not accept exchanges or returns of articles made / customized according to the Client's specifications or manifestly customized.
No returns will be accepted after 14 days from the invoice date.
In accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, Loja dos Descartáveis informs its Customers that in order to exchange or return the items, the items must be in perfect condition, in their original packaging and with all accessories included, and must be accompanied by the respective proof of purchase or the original invoice.

The Disposable Store does not accept the return or exchange of these items after they are used.

After contacting our services and being given the return instructions, you can send us the item properly packaged, with original packaging, to the following address:

All items will be checked upon arrival at our service and only those who respect the return conditions will be accepted for exchange or return.

To be accepted, returns must respect the following conditions:

- The products must not have been used. They must be in a new state.
- The products must be shipped in the original packaging in good condition inside a shipping carton.
- Products must be shipped within 15 days of receiving the order.
- Returns will be processed within 7 to 10 working days.

In case of return, if the Customer chooses to refund the amount, the Disposable Store informs that:

  Reimbursement is made by the same payment method, in accordance with the Customer's wishes. In the case of payment by Multibanco or cash payment, Loja dos Descartáveis asks the Customer to provide him with a NIB so that the return can take place more quickly.
  In the event of having received damaged items, the return costs will be the customer's responsibility.
  The refund will only be made after checking the status of the product.

Loja dos Descartáveis reserves the right not to accept items that do not comply with these conditions.

12. User commitment

Users of the site www.shopofdescartaveis.pt undertake to comply with these Terms and Conditions and respect them. Using the website implies acceptance of the following general rules of conduct:

- It is prohibited to introduce, store or disseminate defamatory, obscene, insulting, xenophobic and/or any other content that violates the general principles of law and public order through the website;

- Protect the confidentiality of access data to private areas (ie login password) to prevent third parties from accessing your account.

- Do not use fake IDs;

- Ensure maximum correction of personal data and addresses so that Loja dos Descartáveis processes correctly online orders;

The user is responsible for the accuracy and veracity of the data communicated to Loja dos Descartáveis.

In case of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions or misuse of the website, Loja dos Descartáveis reserves the right to cancel the user's registration, regardless of the applicable legal procedures.
